Who We Are
A Movement of Purpose and Responsibility
We, young Haitian men and women, aware of the social, political, and moral realities of the country, united by a shared desire for responsible change, hereby declare the creation of MOJEDHA – Movement of Engaged Youth of Haiti.
MOJEDHA was born from the collective awareness of a segment of Haitian youth, particularly those of the 2000 generation, in the face of the marginalization, stigmatization, and the constant discrediting of our inexperience, while paradoxically designating our generation as the future of the nation.
Refusing to be mere spectators of the national destiny, the young people of Generation 2000 affirm their determination to become active participants in the now and future rebuilding of our country, Haiti.
The movement’s main objective is to promote civic engagement, responsibility, integrity, national sovereignty, and the active participation of young people in the development of Haiti.

As a group of young and engaged citizens:
We reject all forms of dependency that compromise national dignity and sovereignty, while we recognize the value of advice and support from honest, uncorrupted elders who are driven by the best interests of the nation.
The movement operates in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Haiti and is founded on the conviction that the future of the country rests on a responsible, aware, and engaged youth.
